Grading Cycles
The 2026–2027 school year is divided into six grading cycles. Progress reports are generated every three weeks during each cycle, and report cards are generated at the end of each six-week cycle.

Progress reports will be generated and sent by the school every three weeks during the grading cycle.
These reports provide families with an interim update before the final report card for the cycle.
Report Cards
Report cards will be generated and sent by the school every six weeks at the end of the grading cycle.
Report cards reflect the student’s recorded grades for the completed grading period.

Requesting Copies
Progress reports: To request a copy of a progress report, contact your student’s teacher or teachers. Families may also contact the campus to schedule a meeting or request a return call.
Report cards: To request a copy of a report card, contact the Durham Elementary campus registrar.
District Expectations
Grading Policy Reminders
- Grades must reflect the student’s actual mastery of the assigned work.
- Teachers are not required to assign a minimum grade. Grades reflect the quality and mastery demonstrated in the work submitted.
- Students who receive a failing grade below 70 have an opportunity to make up or redo eligible assignments or tests in accordance with district and campus procedures.
