Mylie E. Durham Elementary, located at 4803 Brinkman Street in the heart of Houston’s Shepherd Park Plaza and Candlelight Plaza, has been serving the community for decades with a proud tradition of academic excellence, bilingual education, and community partnership. Named in honor of Mylie E. Durham, a dedicated educator and leader in Houston ISD, our school has grown into a vibrant, inclusive learning environment that reflects the diversity and strength of the surrounding neighborhood.
